The Vice Presidents

Second To One

The Vice Presidents

You have the choice of two options!  1) It’s a scavenger hunt as your students must explore and examine our exhibits and timelines.  Their quest:  to find the answers to such questions as, “Who was the only Native American vice president?” or “Which vice president has a major American city named for him?”  2) You may also choose a program of colorful anecdotes about different vice presidents.

Your Students Will Learn:

  • The role of the Vice President
  • The 12th Amendment
  • The 25th Amendment
  • Geography of the vice presidents
  • The historical significance of each
  • How to use a Museum and find specific information
